💰 $120,000 - $130,000 per year
About the role
- Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the geographical territory with regional team and business partners
- Work directly with the Head of Business Development to support field achievement of Wealth Management, Financial Planning, Net Flows and Balanced Practice Sales goals
- Engage with the Regional Vice President and each General Agent to develop sales plans and execute sales programs
- Develop a written plan for each agency based on segmentation, advisor skill & will, sophistication, and GA scorecard
- Upskill agency leadership and infrastructure on Wealth Management Products and Services via formal training and development programs
- Perform periodic reviews of Wealth Management Sales, Financial Planning, and Net Flows goals and adjust plans
- Lead, manage and deploy Associate Regional Director and Regional Consultants into coaching and consulting relationships
- Conduct coaching program meetings, advisor focus groups, boot camps and virtual/live training for top wealth and planning advisors
- Deliver agency training on 6 Step Financial Planning Process, Client Service Models, Client Engagement Frameworks, Product Sales Conversations, Net Flows Strategies
- Perform Advisor Book of Business assessments and create action plans including practice management approaches for asset management
- Understand full Wealth Management and Insurance product suite and drive implementation
- Train, develop and inspect direct reports; ensure they can execute coaching programs and understand product suites and planning services
- Lead weekly sales meetings, ongoing training, weekly 1:1s, and perform Quarterly Business Reviews
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree
- FINRA Series 7 at time of application
- FINRA Series 63 at time of application
- FINRA Series 65 or 66 at time of application or ability to obtain within 180 days of hire
- 8+ years of external sales experience selling investment management and financial planning
- Ability to travel 50% as required
- Experience leading and developing a diverse and high performing sales team (ideal)
- Deep understanding of the issues facing financial advisors as small business owners
- Understands Financial, Wealth and Insurance Products
- Strong communication skills with ability to communicate nuanced concepts and navigate complex interpersonal dynamics
- Ability to execute coaching programs, focus groups, bootcamps, and virtual training
- Ability to lead weekly sales meetings, conduct 1:1s, and perform Quarterly Business Reviews
