About the role

  • Manage existing Small Enterprise (SE) relationships and originate new SE relationships around branch locations.
  • Achieve assigned financial and non-financial objectives by meeting borrowing & non-borrowing needs of customers (borrowers, transactors, depositors).
  • Actively source new-to-bank customers and generate new business leads from walk-ins.
  • Focus on relationship management and up-selling/deep-selling/cross-selling of bank products.
  • Seamlessly takeover relationships originated by DS & downgraded by ME team following onboarding procedures.
  • Identify opportunities to upgrade customers to ME category by profiling and needs analysis.
  • Ensure quality & soundness of assigned SE portfolio: KYC reviews, due diligence, AML procedures, documentation control.
  • Conduct annual/periodic credit facility reviews and recommend credit facilities in line with bank policy.
  • Monitor account conduct, follow-up on credit issues, and maintain acceptable portfolio quality.
  • Liaise with internal/external advisors, Risk Management, and related units to achieve business objectives.
  • Develop SSO staff professionally and update branch/regional managers regularly for better controls.

Requirements

  • Banking Sales & service experience with proven relationship management qualities.
  • Requires advanced vocational knowhow of the subject matter (viz. Credit, Trade, Operating system, Legal, etc)
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • At least 4 years + relevant banking experience in local or international market
  • MBA/CA or if a regular graduate needs to possess adequate relevant experience.
  • Positive attitude, strong work ethic and a good team player.
