As our Marketing Account Executive on the Commercial Lines team, you'll lead and coordinate marketing activities on new and renewal business as well as support Producer in sales activities.
You'll do this by serving as a consultative point of contact for clients, identifying and understanding client needs, providing recommendations with supporting rationale with limited or no oversight from Producer, demonstrating strong negotiation skills, responding to Request of Proposals, participating in prospect meetings, directing and leading mid-year reviews, working closing with national leadership to drive LOB strategy and initiatives, and leading, mentoring and training other account service team members.
Requirements
Bachelor's degree or equivalent education and/or related experience
Six years of relevant insurance industry experience
Property and casualty insurance license
Possess strong knowledge in shared and layered property programs
Considerable knowledge of markets, policies and coverage issues for all states and industries serviced
Organizational skills to plan and prioritize team workload, and to oversee application of workflows and procedures
Strong persuasion skills and tact to obtain information, negotiate with markets, obtain commitment or payments due from others, and motivate staff
Discretion and problem-solving skills to analyze client information, proposal competitiveness, etc., and to resolve client, market and employee relations problems
Demonstrated proficiency in basic computer applications such as Microsoft Office Suite
Ability to travel overnight
