About the role
- Own and develop retail search activation strategy
- Oversee Search Manager for best-in-class retail media campaigns
- Direct and train Managers and Specialists on retail search practices
- Lead strategy on keyword, ad group, audience and targeting
- Collaborate with Director on processes for optimizations
- Create and share presentations for campaign strategy
- Support holistic retail strategy and budget allocations
- Maintain oversight for campaign set-up and reporting
- Set and communicate performance expectations
- Manage and mentor Search Managers and Specialists
- Provide high-quality insights based on client objectives
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in retail search space
- Confident presenter and clear, persuasive communicator (verbal and written)
- Owner and leader mentality, with willingness to “roll up your sleeves.”
- Exceptional Excel skills (Pivot Tables, Vlookups, etc)
- Google Suite Experience (Google Sheets, Docs, Slides)
- Hands-on-keyboard media buying experience
- Retail media buying experience on platforms like Amazon, Walmart, Criteo, etc.
- Strong attention to detail and excellent multitasking abilities
- Ambitious self-starter with ownership of work
- Passion for retail and omnichannel media landscape
- Creative and strategic thinker
- Experience managing & mentoring direct reports
- Very strong soft skills in client presentations
