💰 $120,000 - $180,000 per year
About the role
- Develop and execute strategies to increase market share and revenue in assigned territory
- Recruit and manage high-performing sales groups aligned with growth and product objectives
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key surgeons, customers, and distributors
- Forecast and report sales revenue and KPIs; drive accountability to quotas and implement corrective actions when needed
- Oversee inventory use and deployment in the field per company policy
- Partner with National Accounts on contracting and pricing for hospitals and major accounts
- Conduct regular business reviews with selling entities; create and manage strategic plans by Business Unit
- Identify market trends and competitor activity; seek new growth opportunities
- Support field sales training needs; participate in sales meetings, conventions, and industry events
- Track progress to goals, manage equipment and materials, and ensure compliance with company policies
- Travel weekly (flying and driving) as required
Requirements
- BA/BS in Business or related field required
- MBA preferred
- 10+ years in medical products/devices
- 5+ years managing independent agents/distributors and direct sales teams
- Strong understanding of regional market dynamics and business practices
- Excellent relationship management, problem-solving, and strategic planning skills
- Proven ability to handle product questions and surgical use of devices
- Knowledge of healthcare industry trends and business development principles
- Detail-oriented and highly organized with ability to manage multiple priorities under deadlines
- Strong analytical and leadership abilities; works well independently and collaboratively
- Weekly travel required (flying and driving)
