About the role
- Serve as the primary owner of Marmon Utility’s Salesforce, SQL and Power BI environments
- Manage all aspects of Salesforce configuration, including objects, page layouts, fields, reports, dashboards, flows, and automation
- Perform regular user administration, permission audits, and data integrity checks
- Serve as the internal point of contact for Salesforce support requests, enhancements, and training
- Design and implement custom workflows and process automations in Salesforce to streamline operations
- Collaborate with departments to gather business requirements and develop scalable Salesforce solutions
- Lead internal Salesforce development projects and integrations
- Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and visualizations for stakeholders across departments
- Write and optimize SQL queries to extract, transform, and validate data from SQL Server(s) for analysis and reporting
- Support monthly and quarterly reporting cycles with data validation and dashboard updates
- Assist with ETL processes and database maintenance
- Assist in cross-platform integrations and IT projects as assigned
- Provide documentation and training to business users as required
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline (e.g., Information Systems, Computer Science, Business Analytics, or comparable field)
- 3+ years of hands-on experience as a Salesforce Administrator or Analyst
- Proficient with Salesforce automation (Flows), data modeling, permissions, and reporting
- Experience writing SQL queries and working with relational databases
- Proficient with Power BI or similar BI/reporting tools
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, work independently, and meet deadlines
- Strong problem-solving skills and business acumen
- Salesforce Administrator Certification (ADM-201) preferred
- Experience with Salesforce integrations (APIs, ETL tools, middleware) preferred
- Exposure to financial or marketing systems integration preferred
- Knowledge of SDLC or Agile practice preferred
