About the role

  • MarketStar is looking for a Field Channel Account Manager to support our new AMD-HP Alliance team and NSP/DMR partnerships.
  • The Field Channel Account Manager will be responsible for maintaining relationships with partner(s), managing pipeline and increasing sales for our client.
  • Location: US - Remote
  • What Will You Do? Provide support for AMD-related pre-sales questions about workstation-class HP PCs for account managers and customers.
  • Conduct regular onsite visits to designated accounts on the target list.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with partners and their clients fostering trust and collaboration.
  • Provide tools, resources, and training to partners to help them sell AMD Workstation products or services effectively.
  • Track, monitor, and analyze partner performance against agreed-upon metrics.
  • Conduct training for personnel on AMD products and provide regular feedback on tool effectiveness.
  • Submit weekly/monthly reports to AMD on business status, analyze performance data, and deliver trend analysis to recognize strengths and growth opportunities.

Requirements

  • Strong understanding and experience in a reseller environment with NSP/DMR channel sales
  • Experience and understanding of Workstation-class PC sales
  • College degree in business or a related field preferred
  • Solid experience conducting presentations or trainings, selling and educating others on a product or solution
  • Sales experience with the ability to manage a pipeline
  • Excellent communication skills both oral and written
  • Coachability with a willingness to learn quickly
  • Well organized and detail oriented with good time management skills
  • Ability to travel up to 40%
