• Contribute to and communicate a compelling product strategy for our distributed database, OLTP systems, and high-availability solutions, grounded in market research, competitive analysis, and direct customer engagement.
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog for your areas of ownership, working with senior product leaders on the overall roadmap and making data-driven trade-off decisions to balance new feature development, architectural improvements, and technical debt.
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate the product vision into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and product specifications for distributed architectures, OLTP systems, and HA mechanisms.
• Partner with Product Marketing to support the development of positioning, messaging, and go-to-market strategies. Create technical content, product demos, and sales enablement materials that clearly articulate our value proposition.
• Serve as a technical product expert. Collaborate with developer relations to support our open-source community, gathering feedback and representing their needs to inform the product roadmap.
• Ensure alignment across engineering, marketing, sales, and support, working with product leadership to communicate progress and dependencies to all stakeholders.

Senior Product Manager

• Contribute to product direction for scalable distributed architecture, core MariaDB-based OLTP server, and synchronous high-availability offerings powered by Galera Cluster
• Contribute to and communicate a compelling product strategy for distributed database, OLTP systems, and high-availability solutions
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog; make data-driven trade-off decisions to balance new feature development, architectural improvements, and technical debt
• Collaborate closely with engineering teams to translate product vision into detailed technical requirements, user stories, and product specifications for distributed architectures, OLTP systems, and HA mechanisms

• Serve as Senior Solutions Engineer driving deal closure and growth in North America in close collaboration with sales
• Present MariaDB portfolio, design and drive solutions addressing clients' data and database centric business challenges
• Create SOWs with help of the technical team, develop and lead presentations, web conferences, white-papers, workflows, and RFP/RFIs
• Partner closely with global sales to prioritize resources and support GTM efforts
• Manage stakeholders at all levels including CIOs/CTOs/CXOs, DBAs, developers
• Lead complex customer POC engagements and collaborate with customer success and field teams
• Travel as needed to support sales efforts and represent at conferences
• Execute sales engineering best practices and apply enterprise technology expertise

• Work closely with clients to understand their technical requirements, business goals, and database architecture either remotely or on-site as per customer needs. Professional Services encompasses a range of technical capabilities from a simple estate health check to a large scale architectural design
• Lead and support MariaDB deployments, including design, configuration, migration, and integration.
• Conduct performance tuning, troubleshooting, and database health checks to maximize efficiency and reliability.
• Provide in-depth strategic recommendations for database scaling, architecture improvements, and best practices.
