Under little or no supervision, responsible for ambulatory application(s)/module(s) of Epic.
Collaborate with and provide expert-level support to counterparts from other applications to meet development and implementation objectives for assigned Epic applications.
Serve as project lead for key initiatives, including performing project management duties, as assigned.
Develop, document, and adhere to internal procedures used in conjunction with related applications and systems.
Interact professionally with leadership, faculty, staff, and vendors.
Workflow: Work with requestors and users to understand and document current workflow and propose optimized future workflows for planned application changes.
Design and Build: Present recommended system enhancement opportunities and creative technical solutions; identify, propose, build, and demonstrate prototypes of application configuration options.
Perform ongoing maintenance and configuration updates to Epic applications.
Test: Create test scripts, timelines, and plans; perform testing of clinical information system configuration and processes; coordinate and participate in requestor and user testing.
Support: Provide tier-two support to end-users both remotely and in-person; monitor, investigate, troubleshoot, and resolve incoming tickets; liaise between users and vendors; coordinate system fixes and deployment of application changes with training and operations.
