About the role
- Lead a well-established commercial door and frame company serving the San Francisco Bay Area
- Make operational and strategic decisions as Partner & President, including P&L ownership
- Expand market presence, deepen client relationships, and pursue large-scale projects throughout the Bay Area
- Oversee production facility, union workforce, estimating and accounting functions
- Provide leadership, strategic planning, and operational execution
- Collaborate with Mainshares Capital platform, advisors, and vendors; receive mentorship
- Potentially relocate to acquisition target location when disclosed during interview process
Requirements
- 10+ years in construction, specialty contracting, or building materials, with strong operational leadership background
- Proven track record managing budgets, financial analysis, and driving profitability (P&L Ownership)
- Experience managing crews, installers, or project managers; ability to build a high-performance culture
- Familiarity with estimating, bidding, project management, and large-scale installations (Operational Excellence)
- Ability to manage client relationships, secure new contracts, and grow market share (Business Development Acumen)
- Understanding of commercial door, frame, and hardware systems; knowledge of union labor operations a plus (Technical Proficiency)
- California Contractors License C-61 and D-28
- Authorized to work in the US
