About the role

  • Lead a well-established commercial door and frame company serving the San Francisco Bay Area
  • Make operational and strategic decisions as Partner & President, including P&L ownership
  • Expand market presence, deepen client relationships, and pursue large-scale projects throughout the Bay Area
  • Oversee production facility, union workforce, estimating and accounting functions
  • Provide leadership, strategic planning, and operational execution
  • Collaborate with Mainshares Capital platform, advisors, and vendors; receive mentorship
  • Potentially relocate to acquisition target location when disclosed during interview process

Requirements

  • 10+ years in construction, specialty contracting, or building materials, with strong operational leadership background
  • Proven track record managing budgets, financial analysis, and driving profitability (P&L Ownership)
  • Experience managing crews, installers, or project managers; ability to build a high-performance culture
  • Familiarity with estimating, bidding, project management, and large-scale installations (Operational Excellence)
  • Ability to manage client relationships, secure new contracts, and grow market share (Business Development Acumen)
  • Understanding of commercial door, frame, and hardware systems; knowledge of union labor operations a plus (Technical Proficiency)
  • California Contractors License C-61 and D-28
  • Authorized to work in the US
