• Lead daily operations of the POC across 50+ stores in Johannesburg, Cape Town, Eastern Cape, and Limpopo
• Drive sales across cash, finance, and mobile activations, ensuring targets are met
• Oversee merchandising, in-store experience, and customer engagement
• Manage and mentor a core team of 4–8 staff and guide in-store promoters and agents
• Track KPIs (finance vs. cash mix, SIM activations, revenue per store) and provide operational insights
• Act as the go-to liaison for retail partner stakeholders and coordinate with finance, logistics, marketing, and legal teams
• Capture lessons learned, identify growth levers, and feed into the business case for nationwide expansion in 2026
• Report to the Director, International Strategy & Growth
• 6-month proof-of-concept engagement with scale potential

Channel Manager – Retail

• Proactively pursue sales prospects within a designated geographical area

Field Sales Manager

• Monitor and deliver sales targets for the Oke Ogun territory
• Recruit, train and mentor a field-based team of Direct Sales Representatives (DSRs)
• Develop local networks and customer relationships to drive product adoption
• Craft and implement sales and marketing strategies to exceed targets
• Monitor and analyse marketing campaigns and fine-tune for results
• Produce comprehensive reporting to shape future strategies
• Handle DSR inventory and manage audit recommendations in line with company policies

• Manage stock allocation for sales and track returns to the warehouse
• Support and conduct stock audits and regular reconciliations

• Troubleshoot product issues and coordinate repairs with relevant teams
• Collaborate with sales teams and warehouse operations to optimise stock processes and availability

• Make outbound calls to existing customers to tell them about smartphone upgrades and other M-KOPA products
• Connect customers with technology and guide them toward suitable products
• Work toward meeting sales goals and targets
• Maintain high call quality standards and ensure every customer has a great experience
• Manage time effectively to contact as many customers as possible each day
• Report to the Telesales Team Lead and collaborate within the Customer Retention - Outbound team
• Help customers discover product possibilities and support families across Uganda in accessing products

Telesales Representative, Outbound

• Act as the operational heartbeat of M-KOPA's retail network across Kenya
• Orchestrate seamless operations across multiple locations and translate operational challenges into solutions
• Design and implement operational excellence frameworks to elevate customer experiences
• Monitor and optimize network performance metrics and cost expenditure
• Monitor stock management across all outlets and oversee inventory reconciliation
• Ensure optimal stock levels and coordinate escalations for prompt resolution
• Ensure compliance with safety and operational standards
• Lead regional teams with regular performance reviews, coaching, and setting performance standards
