About the role
- Be the face of the store: welcome customers and create a fun, engaging shopping experience
- Use product knowledge to offer personalised recommendations, perform product demonstrations, and hand out tailored samples
- Help drive sales, meet and exceed targets, and support profit-based bonuses
- Host and assist with in-store and external events
- Manage stock levels efficiently and ensure shelves are well-stocked
- Maintain a clean, tidy, and visually appealing shop floor and adapt displays to seasonal trends
- Actively control store costs, such as product waste, to help meet the shop’s budget
- Participate in induction and ongoing training and development to enhance product knowledge and customer service skills
- Collaborate with the team to foster an inclusive, respectful working environment
Requirements
- Must be available at least one weekend day and two weekdays
- Availability for 8 hours per week (overtime available closer to Christmas)
- Must be available for induction Saturday 11th October & training Saturday 18th October
- Passion for delivering exceptional customer service
- Teamwork and ability to collaborate positively with colleagues
- Strong communication skills to maintain open and respectful information flow
- Ability to perform product demonstrations and provide personalised recommendations
- Ability to manage stock levels and control store costs
- Must be able to work in-store at Manchester - Market Street (right to work in UK implied)
