Accountant

• To manage the client finances on a portfolio of businesses, completing key monthly and annual processes, hitting block KPIs and delivering block financial information to Property Managers and Block Directors when requested.
• Daily allocation of leaseholder/supplier payments via the block management system.
• Inputting budgets into the system and issuing service charge and ground rent invoices.
• Monthly bank reconciliations.

Service Charge Accountant

Payroll

• Accurately process payroll on a monthly basis, ensuring full compliance with HMRC regulations.
• Lead on complex payroll queries and escalations, liaising with employees, managers, and external payroll provider as needed.
• Support with in month National minimum wage analysis to ensure full compliance in line with HMRC guidelines.
• Support payroll reconciliations and month-end/year-end reporting activities.
• Liaise with the outsourced payroll provider to ensure timely and accurate updates for employee changes, including new starters, leavers, benefits and salary adjustments.
• Act as a subject matter expert on payroll legislation, payrolled benefits, pension schemes and statutory payments (Tax, NI, SSP, SMP, etc.).
• Provide mentorship and oversight to junior payroll staff, assisting with training and development.
• Collaborate closely with HR, Finance, and external stakeholders to ensure data integrity and alignment.
• Supporting with new starters, leavers and Internal contract changes.
• Assist in reviewing and improving payroll processes, systems, and controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
• Understanding of company commission scheme’s, to support employees with understanding of calculations and any queries raised.

• Oversee the effective operation and continuous improvement of the Group’s HR and Payroll system to support business and employee needs
• Represent HR Data & Systems in cross-functional transformation programmes and strategic projects
• Lead on HR data and systems workstreams for annual processes such as the pay review and budgeting process
• Drive system upgrades and enhancements internally and with third party providers, ensuring successful delivery and adoption
• Proactively identify opportunities to increase automation and improve workflows
