Lead and oversee the Louisville office operations, ensuring effective communication and collaboration with staff, discipline leaders, and senior management
Coordinate with discipline leaders, management, and corporate HR staff on personnel and staffing issues
Monitor workloads and ensure effective resource allocation with discipline leaders and senior management
Coordinate with senior leaders and business development staff to identify and pursue new business opportunities and strategic initiatives
Manage relationships with agencies and consultants, maintaining strong, productive partnerships
Engage in business development and networking activities including representing the company at industry and other events
Play a key role in recruiting efforts, identifying key staffing needs and actively participating in the recruitment process
Identify and cultivate new business opportunities and relationships to drive regional growth
Promote our brand and services within the Louisville regional market
Develop and mentor a high-performing team of civil engineering professionals
Uphold and promote our positive workplace culture and corporate values
May selectively lead major or strategic projects and serve as the primary Project Management representative to select clients
Provide or ensure QA/QC on local projects and may contribute to the production of select deliverables within your operational discipline/background.
Requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree in Civil Engineering or a closely related field preferred
Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred, but not required
12+ years of progressive experience in civil engineering
Demonstrated networking and relationship building skills
Demonstrated leadership capabilities
Experience with project management and accounting software is helpful
Exceptional organization skills
Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Ability to work individually or as part of a team
