About the role

  • Support both the operational and strategic sides of the People & Culture function, ensuring smooth HR delivery.
  • Ensure delivery of core HR processes such as onboarding, payroll, and benefits.
  • Collaborate across departments to support alignment and integration of People & Culture goals and initiatives.
  • Maintain the integrity of the Human Resources Information System (HRIS) by ensuring data is accurate and up-to-date.
  • Collaborate with the Talent Acquisition team to support the onboarding lifecycle, create contracts, and support offer documentation.
  • Use the company’s internal IT ticket raising system for people-related changes, joiner and leaver processes.
  • Support pre-employment screening for new joiners and annual refreshers.
  • Generate scheduled and ad-hoc reports on key HR metrics including headcount, turnover, and recruitment data.
  • Assist in creating dashboards to visualize people data and trends for leadership and the People & Culture team.
  • Assist with analysis of people data to identify trends and challenges and provide initial insights for talent management and employee engagement.
  • Assist with annual processes like performance reviews and compensation cycles by pulling relevant data.
  • Support implementation of new HR technologies and tools and help document and maintain HR processes and procedures.
  • Provide general administrative and project support for the People & Culture leadership team as needed.
  • Support DEI, Wellbeing, Engagement initiatives and the creation of People and Culture monthly newsletters.
  • Maintain training records and assist with Learning and Development administration.

Requirements

  • Recent university graduate with a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Data Analytics, or a related field.
  • A strong academic background with evidence of an interest in human resources.
  • Experience with an HRIS or data visualization tools (like Power BI or Tableau) from a university project or internship is a plus.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to data accuracy.
  • Strong analytical and organizational skills.
  • Proficiency in Excel and the broader Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a willingness to take initiative.
  • High level of discretion and professionalism when handling sensitive information.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a collaborative mindset.
  • A proactive and curious attitude, with a keen interest in learning about the financial technology industry.
