Define and implement modern data warehouse architecture and frameworks, covering data modeling, ETL pipelines, orchestration, storage, and access patterns
Develop scalable data solutions leveraging Databricks, AWS, and other modern tools to handle large-scale, high-frequency data workloads
Design and build APIs and data integration layers to enable interoperability across systems and real-time data access
Continuously improve performance, scalability, and cost efficiency across ETL processes, compute environments, and data delivery systems
Work with cross-functional teams—including Data Engineering, Platform Engineering, and Analytics—to align technical solutions with business outcomes
Champion best practices for data quality, lineage, metadata management, and compliance
Create architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and design templates to support reuse and consistency across the organization

Requirements

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
10+ years of experience in data engineering or architecture roles, with strong expertise in data warehousing and distributed data systems
Proven experience building large-scale, high-throughput data pipelines using Databricks, Spark, Delta Lake, S3, and related technologies
Deep understanding of ETL/ELT design, data modeling, and data integration patterns (batch and streaming)
Strong programming skills in Python, SQL, and familiarity with API development and orchestration tools
Experience working with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and tools such as Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a bias for action and ownership
Excellent communication skills with the ability to simplify complex technical concepts for diverse audiences
Knowledge of data governance, lineage, and security best practices
Certifications in AWS, Databricks, or related technologies are a plus.
