About the role
- Forge Strategic Partnerships: identify and build relationships with key decision-makers including Superintendents and Chief Academic Officers.
- Design Tailored Solutions: collaborate with districts to design custom tutoring programs.
- Communication and Collaboration: maintain communication and collaboration to ensure programs implement as designed.
- Strategic Account Management: create long-term growth plans ensuring revenue growth through upselling.
- Customer Retention and Loyalty: ensure customers renew contracts.
- Drive Regional Growth: manage full sales cycle from pipeline development to closing deals to meet quota.
- Prioritize In-Person Engagement: cultivate relationships through virtual and in-person meetings; travel across Southeast region.
- Collaborate Cross-Functionally: work with Implementation, Tutor Services, Product teams for seamless transition.
Requirements
- Experienced District Leader: You have 5+ years of administrative experience within a K-12 school district.
- Education Sales Professional: You have 3+ years of experience in a client-facing or outbound sales role within the education industry.
- Experience working with or have been part of leadership/executive staff in a district or charter setting.
- Relationship-Driven: excel at building authentic connections and leverage existing network of district leaders.
- Strategic & Resourceful: creative problem-solver with strategic planning skills.
- Comfortable in a Remote Environment: resourceful, self-starter, thrive in remote team.
- Data-driven Orientation: utilize sales/communication/implementation platforms and analytics.
- Willingness to travel across the Southeast region.
- Preferred: Experience working with key decision-makers; Prior experience with an early stage business.
