Provide oversight and direction on operational processes related to participant transactions, contributions, and trade activities, ensuring alignment with plan rules and regulatory requirements
Analyze data trends and recurring errors , identifying root causes and recommending corrective actions to improve accuracy and efficiency
Review and interpret legal documents , including QDROs and other court orders, ensuring proper execution and compliance
Manage and prioritize workflow across internal teams and external vendors, ensuring timely and accurate processing of participant activities
Lead resolution efforts for system issues , collaborating with IT and vendor teams to troubleshoot and implement long-term solutions
Conduct quality audits of service provider deliverables, ensuring adherence to internal controls and compliance standards
Mentor and support junior team members , providing guidance on issue resolution and communication strategies
Maintain and enhance process documentation , SOPs, and training materials to support consistency and knowledge sharing
Support audit and compliance readiness , preparing documentation and communicating key findings and risks to leadership
Identify and recommend process and system improvements that enhance operational efficiency and participant experience
Requirements
4 Year/Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience (4 years of experience in lieu of Bachelor’s)
1-3+ Years of experience in retirement plan administration that directly aligns to the responsibilities of this position
Ability to work with others in a fast-paced, team environment
Excellent organizational skills with the ability to prioritize workload and multi-task while maintaining strict attention to detail
Solid project management skills with the critical ability to coordinate and balance multiple projects in a time-sensitive environment, under pressure and meeting deadlines
Solid relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers and colleagues)
Strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style
Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
