2D Artist

• Collaborate with a talented team of artists, game designers, and developers to create ground-breaking and genre-defining player experiences for our games.
• Innovate, design and implement user interface solutions, delivering a frictionless player experience.
• Provide artistic guidance to junior team members ensuring high-quality UI concepts.
• Create high-quality and visually stunning UI assets, icons, and animations.
• Create wireframes, mock-ups, and prototypes to present UI concepts and iterate based on feedback.
• Collaborate with game design, art direction, and development teams to understand project requirements.
• Design, create, and implement industry-leading UI elements including menus, HUDs, icons, buttons, and other interactive components.
• Work with engineers to implement screens and assets into the game engine considering performance and technical constraints.
• Develop and maintain UI style guides and documentation for consistency across projects.

• Support the master material shaders design process, fostering a high standard of technical practices and artistic excellence in line with project goals.
• Create and maintain complex Unreal Master Material Shaders.
• Create PBR photo-realistic textures and Material Instances.
• Collaborating with the Art Director and other discipline leads to drive the development and innovation of material workflows that maximise visual impact.
• Establishing best practices for material creation, documentation of workflows, and the development of new tools and techniques.
• Working with Technical Artists and Render Engineers to optimise shader content and ensure performance targets are met.
• Driving research and implementation of advanced material techniques, technologies, and industry standards.

Principal Material Artist

• Develop and produce realistic AAA standard PBR materials.
• Collaborate with teams across Environment, Foliage, Scanning, Character, and Vehicle art to create cohesive materials and shaders.
• Engage with Technical Artists and Render Engineers to set new benchmarks in material shader development.
• Document and refine the material creation pipeline for consistency and efficiency.
• Identify and implement opportunities to enhance quality and workflows.

• You will be heavily involved in the technical aspects of lighting.
• You will collaborate with Technical Artists and Graphics Developers to implement advanced lighting systems.
• You will contribute to the development of tools and pipelines to streamline the lighting workflow.

Senior Lighting Artist

3D Artist

• Work with the Lead and Associate Lead Environment Artist to create a cohesive and immersive game world that meets the creative and technical requirements of the project
• Create 3D models and textures of environmental assets such as buildings, terrain, vegetation, and props
• Ensure that the game environments are visually consistent and meet the established art style and technical guidelines
• Collaborate with other departments, such as level design and lighting to ensure that the environment assets are optimised and integrated into the game world effectively
• Assist in developing and implementing new techniques and tools to improve the quality and efficiency of the environment art pipeline
• Stay current with the latest industry trends and techniques in environment art and share knowledge with the rest of the team
• Maintain clear communication with team members to ensure that project goals and deadlines are met
• Work closely with the Technical Artist and Engineering team to ensure that the environment assets are optimised for performance
• Participate in critiques and reviews of environment art assets to maintain a high standard of quality and ensure that they meet the needs of the game design

Environment Artist, 12 Month FTC

Game Engineer

• Work closely with the creative teams to implement compelling gameplay features and systems
• Own the planning and development of large bodies of work, with minimal supervision
• Produce clean and robust code, following all standards and guidelines, including the use of automated testing processes
• Be aware of risks in your work and the wider project, and actively mitigate them
• Pro-actively seek opportunities to improve the quality of everything we do
