About the role

  • Drive sales growth by leading and developing a high-performing sales team
  • Combine coaching, field engagement, and performance management to support strategic initiatives and customer-centric selling
  • Define and implement KPIs to drive sales growth, including new customer acquisition, wallet share expansion, and pipeline velocity
  • Support complex sales opportunities and participate in joint sales calls with Sales Engineers to build customer trust
  • Monitor team performance against targets, use CRM tools to track activity, forecast revenue, and report progress to senior leadership
  • Develop regional sales strategies aligned with Lenze’s market attack plans and growth objectives
  • Work with Business Development to identify high-potential OEMs and strategic accounts for targeted engagement
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Marketing, Business Development, Sales Engineers, Application Engineers, and Inside Sales to deliver customer-centric solutions
  • Coordinate with industry segment managers, support product launches, and provide market feedback

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in a technical field required
  • MBA preferred
  • Minimum 5–8 years of experience in technical sales, business development, or regional sales management within automation or motion control sectors
  • Proven ability to lead and inspire sales teams toward aggressive growth goals
  • Ability to coach technical sales professionals and translate complex solutions into business value
  • High initiative, adaptability, and strategic thinking
  • Experience setting and managing KPIs, sales forecasts, and territory plans
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills
  • Strong analytical mindset to assess market trends, customer needs, and competitive positioning
  • Bold, proactive, and results-driven with a relentless focus on execution
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% for field engagement
