About the role
- Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting, forecasting (net bookings, revenue, OI/fee and cash), and effectively managing financial risks and opportunities
- Collaborate with program team and across Leidos functions to define program goals, establish budget, and prepare and maintain EAC
- Make recommendations to leadership for business decisions and program/process improvements
- Drive reporting process and system enhancements to increase speed, consistency and accuracy of KPI reporting
- Support ad-hoc cost reporting, performance analysis, and new business opportunities
- Work in a fast-paced, diverse environment with remote teams and support career development and growth
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting OR related field and 8+ years of experience OR a Master’s degree with 6+ years of relevant experience
- Additional years of relevant experience may be accepted/considered in lieu of degree
- Able to perform functions such as financial planning, financial analysis, and general accounting
- Able to extract data from multiple sources and effectively summarize the current financial position of the program
- Expert knowledge of the project finance field and the ability to complete difficult and complex assignments independently
- Problem solving skills to analyze multifaceted, challenging issues and find solutions
- Committed to customer service, well organized, able to plan and prioritize assignments, and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing
- Ability to work with remote teams and in a fast-paced environment
- Propose and implement project/program improvements
- Strong background in Microsoft Office Suite with emphasis on Excel, including development of formulas, v-lookups, and macros
- Demonstrate advanced analytical skills
- US Citizenship required and able to obtain at minimum Public Trust clearance
- Preferred: Knowledge of Leidos Financial Systems such as Costpoint, Oracle Analytics Cloud, Cognos, Power BI, and ServiceNow
- Preferred: Microsoft Excel (Advanced Level)
