About the role
- Speak with prospective families and students and help them connect with a great tutor.
- In charge of our industry-unique free-trial process and guiding families through enrollment.
- Make 30–70 calls per day to consult with prospective students and families.
- Handle inbound inquiries for tutoring services quickly and effectively.
- Track customer contacts accurately and efficiently in our CRM.
- Coordinate with the Student Success Manager to ensure proper execution of free trials.
- Follow up with families who have completed a trial session to enroll them in ongoing services.
- Meet weekly and monthly targets for new trials and enrollments.
- Demonstrate empathy, emotional intelligence, and a passion for helping students achieve their educational goals.
Requirements
- Energetic, motivated candidates with a passion for education.
- Understanding of the needs of parents and students from Kindergarten through College.
- Comfortable and energized having academic-focused conversations over the phone, text, and email.
- Strong understanding of education in the U.S. and methods for ensuring student success.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- General computer skills—you’ll use Google Suite and VOIP.
- Familiarity with CRM operations (particularly the Zendesk suite) is a plus but not required.
- Willingness to dive in, learn quickly, and adapt.
- A bachelor’s degree is a plus.
