Spearhead establishment and growth of Search Engine Marketing (SEM) business segment targeting small, independent retailers
Develop and execute comprehensive SEM strategy including keyword research, campaign planning, budget allocation, and performance analysis scaled across hundreds of retailers
Oversee creation, implementation, and optimization of SEM campaigns across platforms (Google Ads, Meta, Bing)
Analyze ongoing campaigns and continuously improve performance based on reporting and latest trends
Identify and target potential clients within the small retailer segment; establish partnerships and foster relationships to drive growth
Recruit, develop, and lead a dedicated SEM team as the business segment expands
Requirements
Proven track record (7+ years) in a client-facing SEM role
Extensive knowledge of SEM platforms and tools (Google Ads, Bing Ads, Meta, keyword research tools, analytics platforms)
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and derive actionable insights
Exceptional communication and presentation skills
Extensive experience in building and leading teams, setting culture, tools, and processes
Entrepreneurial mindset; ability to thrive in a startup environment, demonstrating initiative, creativity, and adaptability
Experience introducing and managing processes to enhance productivity and quality
