About the role
- Collaborate with engineers and project teams to define design requirements and project deliverables
- Prepare drawings, schematics, layouts, and design details for construction and fabrication purposes
- Develop and maintain drawing standards, templates, and procedures
- Review and verify drawings for accuracy, completeness, and compliance with project standards
- Incorporate vendor drawings and technical information into project documentation
- Ensure all work adheres to safety, quality, and regulatory standards
- Support project documentation and drafting activities as directed by project leadership
Requirements
- Diploma in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Design, or equivalent
- 4–7 years of relevant design experience
- At least 2 years in an EPC or EPCM environment
- Proficiency in AutoCAD
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Previous experience within the oil and gas sector preferred
- Knowledge of electrical codes, standards, and industry practices
- Strong communication and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities
