Assist the project team in all stages of the project including preconstruction planning, buyout, daily project management, and closeout.
Assist in obtaining, coordinating, and distributing the information and authorizations required to construct the project on time, within budget and to quality standards.
Understand and have a working knowledge of contract documents including all drawings and specifications and clearly communicate required information to relevant teams and trades.
Request and review subcontractor certificates for compliance.
Maintain and update all document controls for the project including contract documents, specifications, geotechnical reports, permits, clarifications, field sketches, inspections, daily field reports, sign-in sheets, meeting minutes, submittal logs, RFI logs, change order logs and safety meeting reports.
Assist Project Management & Field Management with processing change requests and change proposals for price review and managing overall cost management by controlling expenditures, coordinate billings, and identifying work not covered by subcontractors.
Draft agendas, schedule meetings, distribute meeting minutes, and provide weekly project updates.
Take progress photos of job site.
Ensure timely procurement and delivery of materials and equipment to the jobsite to maintain quality and schedule.
Obtain occupancy of the project, participate in final inspections and approvals by municipalities, resolve punch list issues, complete closeout and obtain Certificate of Substantial Completion.
Leverage Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Virtual Design and Construction (VDC) applications with VDC department.
Based on the project site and in temporary construction trailers/offices close to the site; reports to Project Manager and/or Superintendent; no direct reports.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Building Science, Architecture, Business Administration or relevant major preferred.
Internship experience is preferred.
Strong computer skills and general knowledge of Office 365 (required).
Procore PM Software and Blue Beam knowledge is a plus.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, plans and financial reports.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills to present information to Trade Partners via telephone, written logs, email, mobile devices, cameras, etc.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet deadlines.
Strong organizational skills with an attention to detail.

May infrequently drive (intrastate and interstate) or be subject to air travel for Company business.
