Lead system integration and test engineering efforts for space payloads, spacecraft buses, and mission payloads
Define complex test strategies to verify mission capabilities across product lifecycle
Lead development of Electrical Ground Support Equipment (EGSE) designs to meet technical requirements for testing
Generate test documentation: Test Requirements Documents, Test Design Documents, Test Plans, and Test Procedures
Direct support personnel in day-to-day execution of system test and integration tasks
Perform EGSE/UUT selloff, checkouts, and support through all phases of system life-cycle (design, analysis, manufacturing, test, verification/validation, delivery)
Identify, record, document, and track issues through to resolution; analyze test results and detect issues
Support root cause analysis, troubleshooting, and corrective action processes
Represent SI&T during major design reviews (SRR, SDR, PDR/CDR, IRR, I&T, final sell-off)
Provide occasional direct support to Programs and Customers (internal & external) and travel as required
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree and a minimum 9 years of prior relevant experience
Graduate Degree and a minimum of 7 years of prior related experience
In lieu of a degree, minimum of 13 years of prior related experience
5+ years of experience of System Integration and Test (SI&T)
Active Top Secret or TS/SCI clearance
Ability to obtain government security clearance (security clearances may only be granted to U.S. citizens)
Experience testing military or space qualified hardware designs (preferred)
Experience with hardware and software requirements testability, definition, block diagrams, interconnect diagrams, and software & hardware integration (preferred)
Experience with requirements derivation and tracking using DOORs (or equivalent) including requirements verification traceability matrix (RVTM) (preferred)
Test beds and simulators design experience (preferred)
Experience working with multi-discipline technical teams through all phases of program (preferred)
Experience with RF measurements and testing and test equipment (Spectrum Analyzers, Network Analyzers, Logic Analyzers, Signal Generators, O-Scopes, Power Supplies) (preferred)
Familiarity with COSMOS, InControl, or other Satellite/Telemetry Tracking & Control (TT&C) Scripting languages (preferred)
Familiarity with automation and scripting languages (e.g. Java, Python, Perl, Visual Studio Code) (preferred)
Familiarity with Jira/Bit Bucket/Confluence (preferred)
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Experience in mentoring and growing technical staff
Team-player, able to work in a large program and fast-paced environment
Ability to travel to support integration activities and post-delivery support (as required)
Ability to work extended and weekend hours (as required)
