About the role
- Conduct planning and analysis of MDS ground tests and flight tests (pairwise tests, CDI, GTI, GTD, cyber tests, SDA, HWIL, and international events)
- Collect, process, deliver, and ensure integrity of all test event data from testbeds, labs, and operational environments
- Handle real-world event (RWE) data requests and satisfy analysts’ requests for ‘truth’ data
- Manage server and NAS disk space and archive data per System Test processes
- Coordinate with FFRDC and Contractor analysts, Execution Leads, System Integrators, program leadership, and Government customer
- Generate data processing/delivery status reports
Requirements
- At least 5 years prior experience as a data manager or Linux systems administrator
- Self-starter with good communication, interpersonal and problem-solving skills and an ability to work effectively in a fast-paced team environment with the government customer as well as personnel internal and external to the program
- Linux and Windows environments
- Shell scripting, cron jobs, tools, automation
- Python, Java
- DoD 8570 IAT Level-II certification (e.g. Sec+) required at start
- Strong Linux and Windows Server system administration skills
- Rudimentary coding skills to develop scripts to assist in automating data collection and management activities
- Basic troubleshooting skills and an ability to understand the software components running in a widely distributed, virtual environment
- Technical knowledge of the Missile Defense Agency (MDA) Missile Defense System (MDS) including sensors, shooters, command and control systems, and networks
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or other STEM field from an accredited college
- Active Secret Clearance
