About the role
- Support first-party property litigation and insurance defense matters
- Summarize medical records, bills and supporting documents
- Create medical chronologies and bill summaries
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and outside counsel in a team environment
- Use Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe and Excel for case preparation
- Manage tasks independently in a fast-paced office
- Provide organizational and administrative support for litigation matters
Requirements
- 3+ years of First Party Property experience
- Prior insurance defense required
- Prior experience in insurance defense litigation, First Party Property and/or general liability preferred
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures preferred
- Summarize medical records, bills and supporting documents
- Create medical chronologies and bill summaries
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and counsel effectively
- Competent in Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe, and Excel
- Task oriented
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced friendly environment
