About the role
- Summarize medical records, bills and supporting documents
- Create medical chronologies and bill summaries
- Communicate with clients, carriers, and counsel effectively in a team environment
- Support pre-suit and civil litigation/insurance defense matters
- Use Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe & Excel for case management and document preparation
- Work independently and manage tasks in a fast-paced environment
- Collaborate with attorneys and team members on case strategy and client communication
Requirements
- 3+ years of prior Insurance Defense experience
- Prior experience in insurance defense litigation, construction and/or general liability (preferred)
- Background in pre-suit, civil litigation, construction, auto negligence and/or general liability (a plus)
- Prior experience in reviewing and summarizing medical records and bills (preferred)
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong organizational skills
- Working knowledge of Florida Court procedures (preferred)
- Competent in Word, Microsoft Office, PowerPoint, Adobe & Excel
- Must be task orientated
- Ability to work independently in a fast paced friendly environment
