About the role

  • Provide timely and practical legal advice on corporate, commercial, labor, and regulatory matters.
  • Draft, review, and negotiate contracts and agreements with clients, suppliers, distributors, and strategic partners.
  • Ensure compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards; advise on data protection, consumer law, and competition law issues.
  • Manage and coordinate legal disputes, litigation, and claims; liaise with external counsel where required.
  • Support corporate secretarial matters, board documentation, and governance requirements.
  • Develop and implement internal legal policies, compliance frameworks, and training programs for employees.
  • Partner with internal teams (HR, Finance, Sales, Operations, R&D) to assess legal implications of business strategies and decisions.

Requirements

  • Ensure compliance with local and international laws, regulations, and industry standards; advise on data protection, consumer law, and competition law issues.
  • Manage and coordinate legal disputes, litigation, and claims; liaise with external counsel where required.
  • Support corporate secretarial matters, board documentation, and governance requirements.
  • Develop and implement internal legal policies, compliance frameworks, and training programs for employees.
  • Partner with internal teams (HR, Finance, Sales, Operations, R&D) to assess legal implications of business strategies and decisions.
  • Law degree and license to practice law in relevant jurisdiction.
  • 3-5 years of professional legal experience, with at least part gained in-house (preferably in FMCG, pharma, cosmetics, or related industries).
  • Strong expertise in commercial, corporate, and regulatory law.
  • Excellent contract drafting and negotiation skills.
  • Solid knowledge of compliance, data protection, and employment law.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize effectively, and provide business-oriented solutions.
  • Strong communication skills, fluency in English (written and spoken).
