Maintain and enhance quality control systems to support accuracy and compliance in background check processes.
This includes processing orders that fall into quality-related queues managed by the Compliance team.
Provides timely updates and notifications of delays as needed.
Uses Salesforce to provide timely and accurate information when documenting steps taken to review orders for quality-related purposes.
Track and report on quality and compliance KPIs for quality-related queues.
Review and assess company policies and procedures, recommending updates as necessary to maintain compliance and improve quality.
Documents when a researcher, source, or vendor does not meet the company’s standards and proactively escalates issues and risks to the Manager, Compliance.
Conducts reinvestigations in accordance with applicable law, including the Fair Credit Reporting Act, for various search types.
Performs complex research into escalated or unusual cases and develops and recommends solutions to resolve them.
Communicates with courts and vendors, such as external public research vendors, to resolve issues and escalated cases.
Responds to quality-related questions and inquiries from internal departments in a timely manner, providing subject-matter expertise.

Requirements
Experience in customer service is preferred.
Experience in research or investigations is required.
Experience with web-based research is required.
Experience with professional talent development, time management, and prioritization are required.
Experience with the legal/court system is preferred.
Experience with background screening is required.
Proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Excel, Word) or similar software is required.
Relevant business management systems such as general ledger, HRIS, CRM, etc. is preferred.
Salesforce is required.
Education: High school diploma is required.
Bachelor’s degree is preferred.
Certifications or licensure: Professional Background Screening Association Core or Advanced certificate is required, or the capability exists for this to be achieved.
If you do any work-related driving while at Asurint, a driver’s license and ability to maintain a driving record that is satisfactory to the company’s liability insurance carrier is required.
Years of relevant experience: 2 to 5 years is preferred.
