About the role
- Kokua connects a network of guest educators to under-resourced schools to reduce lost learning time
- Support Guest Teachers integrating into schools and classrooms through communication, onboarding, and assignment management
- Receive and handle Guest Teacher issues or complaints and respond appropriately
- Update and regularly review dashboards and systems data; maintain meticulous records and ensure stakeholders receive communication within 24 hours
- Master internal systems including Zendesk, Salesforce, Frontline, Paylocity to support stakeholders
- Lead Guest Teacher Orientation and set a positive, engaging tone with Guest Teachers and School Partners
- Find creative strategies to retain, engage, and optimize Guest Teachers and provide high levels of customer service
Requirements
- Dedicated to meeting the expectations and requirements of internal and external customers
- Self starter, organized, pays attention to detail; proactive; pleasant and fun to work with
- Process oriented to ensure clarity in communication, efficiency, accuracy and replicability
- Efficient communicator (written and verbal); responds quickly and ability to type 60 wpm efficiently
- Strong team player willing to do whatever it takes to get the job done
- Motivated, hungry, wants to make an impact
- Able to work across functions and teams within the organization
- Bachelor’s or equivalent work experience
- Bilingual in English/Spanish preferred
- 0-2 years of work experience or professional internships
- Proficiency with Excel, Google Docs, Outlook, Salesforce
- Experience or willingness to master Zendesk, Frontline, Paylocity
- Preference given to candidates located in Texas
