About the role

  • The Sales Architect is a vital collaborator to the Sales team, having primary responsibility for providing pre-sales support to prospective customers for all KnowBe4 products as well as eliminating technical impediments to their purchase and adoption.
  • Help identify key customer requirements and position KnowBe4 products as they meet those applicable requirements.
  • Collaborate directly with other business units such as Technical Support, Revenue Development, Product Management and others.
  • Technical Leadership: Serve as a product authority, Troubleshoot complex issues, Lead product feedback and deliver advanced training.
  • Strategic Sales Engagement: Work strategically with prospects alongside sales reps, engage corporate leadership, navigate technical teams, lead cross-functional SE projects.
  • Mentorship and Team Development: Mentor junior Sales Engineers, facilitate SE enablement, act as SME, influence best practices.
  • Advanced Problem Solving: Resolve moderate to complex technical issues, support other SEs, anticipate technical challenges.
  • Business and Sales Strategy: Handle senior-level strategy conversations, make recommendations, develop playbooks for complex sales scenarios.
  • Customer Engagement: Develop and execute POV evaluation plans, incorporate business impact and ROI, craft narratives showcasing product solutions.
  • Competitive Intelligence: Articulate core differentiators versus top competitors.

Requirements

  • 2 year degree or technical degree preferred
  • 3-6 years of technical sales or sales engineering experience required.
  • Experience with Gmail and Google Docs
  • Experience with MS Office (Word and Excel)
  • Experience with web browsers (Chrome, Internet Explorer, etc.)
  • Deep technical expertise in cybersecurity and related technologies
  • Proven track record of successful enterprise-level sales engagements
  • Strong leadership and mentoring skills
  • Excellent communication and strategic thinking abilities
  • Excellent verbal and written communications
  • Highly organized and result-oriented
  • Excellent time management and organization skills
  • Can demonstrate technical troubleshooting and analysis ability
  • Experience with security awareness concepts and mail environments
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity and general business concepts
  • Can demonstrate integrity, accountability, respect and commitment
  • Strong collaborative and teamwork skills
  • Must be able to work with minimal supervision
