• Own game design for Synth Riders end-to-end : pillars, systems, specs, and balancing across VR, AR, Nintendo Switch, and future platforms
• Design retention & progression : meta loops, challenges, rewards, personalization, onboarding, and live-ops hooks
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Creative Director, choreographers/mappers, producers, engineers, QA, art, and audio to scope, build, and ship features
• Use data + playtests to validate hypotheses, define success metrics, and protect “feel” and musicality while optimizing engagement

Music Game Design Lead

Data Analyst

• Support Game Development during the initial launch of Synth Riders on Nintendo Switch
• Work with our Data Director to answer prioritized questions that will help inform next-up game decisions for the Synth Riders on Switch SQL and reporting tools
• Prepare analysis on Synth Riders Switch performance and report these findings during recurring Synth Riders meetings
• Learn analytics events for Synth Riders, with a focus on those that appear in the Nintendo version of the game. For new features, take the lead on proposing new analytics instrumentation and be the primary point of contact with the development team
• Work closely with Marketing on tracking Marketing efforts related to Synth Riders on Switch and how it influences units and DLCs sold
• Become familiar with Synth Riders player behavior in the VR version of the game and apply learnings and insights to the Nintendo Switch version

Data Analyst, Part-Time

QA Engineer

• Test products to identify bugs, glitches, and other issues
• Create and maintain detailed bug reports for the development team
• Perform regression testing to ensure issues are fully resolved and do not resurface in the game
• Communicate with the development team to understand how features are supposed to work and create test cases
• Be the only team member dedicated exclusively to QA'ing multiple games within a broader cross-functional team
