About the role

  • Support Game Development during the initial launch of Synth Riders on Nintendo Switch
  • Work with our Data Director to answer prioritized questions that will help inform next-up game decisions for the Synth Riders on Switch SQL and reporting tools
  • Prepare analysis on Synth Riders Switch performance and report these findings during recurring Synth Riders meetings
  • Learn analytics events for Synth Riders, with a focus on those that appear in the Nintendo version of the game. For new features, take the lead on proposing new analytics instrumentation and be the primary point of contact with the development team
  • Work closely with Marketing on tracking Marketing efforts related to Synth Riders on Switch and how it influences units and DLCs sold
  • Become familiar with Synth Riders player behavior in the VR version of the game and apply learnings and insights to the Nintendo Switch version

Requirements

  • Two to three years of experience as a Data Analyst
  • Experience with analytics instrumentation and tools like Unity Analytics or Segment Analytics API
  • Data visualization and dashboard creation
  • SQL and Excel / Google Sheets skills, with demonstrated ability for learning other analytics tools
  • Strong communication abilities that translate across different technical and non-technical personas
  • Proven experience as a collaborator in a remote work environment
  • Experience with data warehouses, such as Snowflake, AWS Redshift, or BigQuery
