About the role
- Test products to identify bugs, glitches, and other issues
- Create and maintain detailed bug reports for the development team
- Perform regression testing to ensure issues are fully resolved and do not resurface in the game
- Communicate with the development team to understand how features are supposed to work and create test cases
- Be the only team member dedicated exclusively to QA'ing multiple games within a broader cross-functional team
Requirements
- 2–3 years of experience in QA testing for games
- Experience testing across multiple platforms (VR, desktop, mobile)
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify, reproduce, and clearly document issues, glitches, and usability problems
- Passion for games and curiosity about gameplay mechanics and player experience
- Familiarity with bug tracking and project management tools (JIRA, Asana, or similar)
- Able to work with a cross-functional team and in a very collaborative atmosphere
- Strong collaboration skills, able to work effectively with developers, designers, and other QA team members
- Clear written and verbal communication in English
- Preferred: Previous experience in social VR or multiplayer online games
- Preferred: Experience as a QA tester for mobile games
- Preferred: Familiarity with virtual worlds, avatars, and player interactions
- Preferred: Knowledge of programming or scripting languages for test automation or debugging
- Preferred: Understanding of performance testing and device-specific optimization across VR, desktop, and mobile
- Preferred: Experience with test automation frameworks for games is a plus
