We are seeking a dynamic, strategic, and people-focused leader to join our Growth Management leadership team as Associate Director, SMB.
In this role, you will manage and mentor a team of 3–4 Growth Managers who oversee their own portfolios of SMB clients.
You will guide your team in delivering exceptional account performance, fostering client relationships, and driving measurable growth for our clients.
You have deep expertise in paid media strategy, having been an in platform strategist yourself previously and if needed, you are able to manage client accounts.
As Associate Director, you’ll be responsible for ensuring team success through proactive coaching, operational excellence, and cross-functional collaboration.
You will work closely with the Growth Director to set performance goals, refine processes, and identify new opportunities to enhance client value and expand service adoption.
What you'll do:
Lead & Mentor a Team of Growth Managers – Oversee 3–4 direct reports, providing regular coaching, feedback, and development plans to elevate performance. (25%)
Strategic Oversight of Client Portfolios – Review and advise on high-level account strategy, ensuring campaigns meet or exceed client goals. (20%)
Performance Management – Monitor KPIs for both individual team members and their client portfolios, addressing issues and optimizing results. (15%)
Operational Excellence – Work with your Growth Director to Implement and refine workflows, reporting standards, and quality control processes to ensure efficiency and consistency. (10%)
Cross-Department Collaboration – Partner with Sales, Creative, SEO, CRO, and Business Intelligence teams to ensure integrated marketing solutions for clients. (10%)
Client Escalation Point – Step in on high-value or at-risk accounts within your book of business to provide strategic guidance and relationship management. (10%)
Talent Development – Identify training needs and facilitate learning opportunities to enhance marketing skills and leadership capabilities across the team. (5%)
Growth Initiatives – Collaborate with the Growth Director to design programs that increase upsell rates, client retention, and overall portfolio growth. (5%)

Requirements
- 🩵 Leadership ability and some experience managing and developing high-performing teams.
🩵 Deep expertise in paid media strategy across three major platforms (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads).
🩵 **B2B - Deep expertise in paid media strategy across LinkedIn (Google Ads, Meta Ads, Microsoft Ads).
🩵 **eCommerce - Deep expertise in feed management and third-party attribution tools (TripleWhale, NorthBeam, etc.)
🩵 Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable strategy.
🩵 Exceptional and timely communication skills—clear, persuasive, and professional.
🩵 Adept at conflict resolution and client relationship management.
🩵 Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities.
🩵 Passion for fostering growth—in clients, in team members, and in the business.
Experience 5+ years in digital marketing, with some experience in people management
Proven success managing paid media budgets of $100K+/month across multiple accounts.
Demonstrated track record of growing accounts and improving retention.
