Carry out preventive and corrective maintenance or repair of Automated Storage & Retrieval Systems (ASRS), Order Fulfilment (OFS) and Sortation systems
Communicate effectively with all Dematic team members including Service Manager, Maintenance Supervisor and Engineers
Maintain effective working relationships with all Dematic team members
Resolve equipment faults within a reasonable time and ensure quality of work
Report faults in a timely manner to your Service Manager
Identify and report health and safety risks, accidents, incidents, injuries and property damage at the workplace
Correct utilisation of appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE)
Comply with workplace policies and procedures for risk identification, risk assessment and risk control
Actively participate in activities associated with the management of workplace health and safety
Ensure all paperwork is completed and submitted on time and correctly
Inspect completed work to check that repairs have been completed correctly and that machinery and equipment conform to specifications and safety standards
Complete all allocated tasks assigned by Service Manager
Requirements
Tertiary education in areas of Electrical / Mechanical / Electromechanical Engineering
Ability to read and interpret electrical and mechanical drawings
Minimum 3 years’ of service experience in control engineering / industrial automation (conveyors) / maintenance of plant/machinery/material handling equipment
Experience in computerised maintenance systems
Experience in pneumatic/hydraulic systems
PLC experience in Siemens S7 and SCADA WIN CC (candidates with Allen Bradley, Omron, Mitsubishi experience also considered)
Understanding of OH&S requirements
Great team player and able to work collaboratively
