About the role

Design, implement and test DCS system software (user interface, database, control logics, batch layer)
Support Lead engineer as Area/Sub lead for medium to large projects
Prepare design and test documents; interpret functional requirement documents and develop detailed design documents
Develop configuration and test guidelines
Conduct or participate in FAT/SAT and commissioning
Work on batch process applications in industries like Biotech, Pharma, F&B, terminals
Interface with third-party systems and implement third-party protocols
Implement Quality Control & Assurance and EEEC IMS processes/documentation
Adhere to WA quality requirements, customer regulatory guidelines, First time right approach, and Good Documentation Practices
Travel to customer sites or Emerson overseas offices as required
Perform other duties as requested by the business

Minimum 3 to 7 years' experience in DCS system software configuration and test
PLC configuration knowledge preferable
Experience in DCS software configuration and test (Batch and S88 applications desirable)
Experience conducting FAT / SAT
Experience with third party interfaces (Modbus, Profibus, OPC etc.)
Knowledge on Validation aspects (desirable)
Experience in Tools usage: MS-Office (Word, Excel, Access, etc.)
Degree in Instrumentation & Electronics or related field (preferred)
Basic understanding of networking protocols and concepts
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Certified or willing to get certified on GAMP5 and GDP requirements
Experience in DeltaV system
