About the role
- Conduct Repair Level analysis (RLA) / Conduct Lifecycle Support Cost Analysis (LSCA) in support of C-17 internal and external Air Force customers
- Review/evaluate each Source, Maintenance, and Recoverability (SMR) Code Change Request to determine RLA/LSCA candidates
- Perform RLA/LSCA and determine best maintenance support scenarios
- Collect, review and maintain applicable data to support an RLA/LSCA; interface with functional areas; compile status reports
- Perform development, analysis, collection, storing, and reviewing of system support technical data elements and specification and make recommendations
- Generate load sheets and input data into the Air Force furnished Network Repair Level Analysis (NRLA) model
- Develop RLA/LSCA output report, perform sensitivity analysis, and analyze results
- Submit RLA/LSCA report to the Support Specialist and review results
- Provide support to the SMR Code Review Board meetings with Boeing IPTs and the Air Force
- Review RLA Supplier Data Request Lists (SDRL) and provide comments/feedback
Requirements
- Technical Bachelor's Degree or higher
- 5+ years of experience in level of repair analysis
- 5+ years of experience with aircraft maintenance
- Experience with Network Repair Level Analysis
- Experience working with MS Access, SQL, Python, R, Data modeling, or Tableau
- Experience with Failure Mode Effects and Criticality analysis (FMECA) and root cause analysis
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint)
- 9+ years of higher education and/or related work experience (Preferred)
- Experience developing and implementing macros using VBA to automate tasks (Preferred)
- Experience with Level of Repair Analysis (LORA) (Preferred)
- Experience with C-17 (Preferred)
- Experience with FMXC2/G081 (Preferred)
- Experience with various cost estimation methodologies, including parametric, analogy, and bottom-up estimating (Preferred)
- U.S. Person as defined by 22 C.F.R. §120.15 required
- Ability to obtain U.S. Security Clearance (U.S. Citizenship required)
