About the role

  • Identify, evaluate, and onboard potential MSP partners across the West Coast of North America
  • Build a pipeline of qualified business opportunities; follow up leads and work towards closing deals via Pax8/Sherweb
  • Attend events and trade shows; travel expected
  • Demo the solution and show value to MSP customers
  • Lead negotiations, contract development, and partnership management
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sales, marketing, product, and legal teams
  • Liaise between MSP partners and Keepit’s R&D/Product teams
  • Design and deliver training and enablement programs for MSP partners and aggregators
  • Drive regular performance reviews, reporting, and metrics analysis
  • Report to Global Director of MSP and Cloud Distribution; work from within a key business hub (Denver preferred)

Requirements

  • Solid knowledge of the MSP language and business model
  • Ability to identify the right partnerships and drive mutually beneficial business relationships
  • Ability to demo the product and teach others to demo the product
  • Solid understanding of technical aspects of backup and recovery, storage, or IT-infrastructure
  • Hunter-mentality and experience in hunting for new business
  • Strong network of potential MSP partners throughout the region (asset)
  • Motivated by working in a scale-up environment and entrepreneurial spirit
