About the role

  • Build and scale Deel’s presence with startups and early-stage companies
  • Define and evolve Deel’s value proposition for startups
  • Segment the ICP by growth stage, funding, region, and hiring complexity, and build tailored use cases and adoption pathways
  • Own messaging, campaign strategy, lifecycle programs, and partner alignment
  • Work across Product, Sales, Partnerships, Growth, and Customer Success to understand the early-stage buyer and shape GTM
  • Lead startup-focused GTM campaigns each quarter in partnership with PMMs, Paid, SDRs, and Growth Marketing
  • Collaborate with the Partnerships team to drive co-marketing and channel growth with VC, accelerator, and platform partners
  • Source and promote compelling customer stories to strengthen credibility and advocacy
  • Represent Deel in startup communities, partner networks, and industry events, both virtual and in-person
  • Partner with Events team on audience strategy, content, and speaker presence
  • Source speaking opportunities, firesides, and co-hosted activations to position Deel in the right rooms

Requirements

  • 8-10+ years in B2B marketing, ideally in a segment marketing, product marketing, or GTM leadership role
  • Deep understanding of the startup buyer mindset, with direct experience working with or marketing to early-stage teams
  • Proven ability to lead cross-functional programs that span marketing, partnerships, product, and customer teams
  • Excellent communicator and simplifier who can distill insights, advocate for your segment, and drive alignment across teams
