About the role

  • Independently manage complex international payroll processes across the United States, United Kingdom, Malta, and Australia
  • Process end-to-end payroll across multiple jurisdictions (US – including multi-state variations, UK, Malta, and Australia)
  • Handle all payroll-related tax filings, including jurisdiction-specific deductions and employer obligations
  • Manage compensation structures, statutory contributions, and benefits processing per country
  • Ensure full compliance with local employment and tax regulations
  • Serve as an internal advisor on payroll compliance and reporting
  • Navigate and advise on payroll nuances per country and state with zero ramp-up

Requirements

  • 2–3 years of experience in global payroll operations
  • Advanced knowledge of state-specific payroll taxation in the US
  • Proven experience working across US, UK, Malta, and Australia payroll systems
  • Deep familiarity with statutory requirements, employment law, and benefit systems
  • Strong experience in using payroll systems and generating payroll reports
  • Self-sufficient and capable of providing advisory input to management
