About the role
- Support the development of strategic and FEDSIM proposals as a strategist and content contributor.
- Contribute to multi-layer strategies to target and win new business.
- Develop content including Basis of Estimates, Staffing Plans and Rationale, and Technical and Management Volumes.
- Contribute to sales material development, and research and analysis.
- Support pursuit teams from opportunity identification through award.
- Collaborate with Capture and Solutioning team members to develop differentiated solutions and proposal strategies.
- Translate solutions and strategies into compelling proposal content consistent across multiple volumes.
- Assess proposal content for integration and consistency of strategies, win themes, and discriminators across sections and volumes.
- Assess consistency of pricing with management and technical proposal elements.
- Provide clear, compelling, and compliant written responses that incorporate win strategies.
- Write and prepare pursuit support artifacts including white papers, presentations, and marketing collateral.
- Work with graphics professionals to conceptualize and manage the development of high-quality, impactful proposal graphics.
- Collaborate with business and functional leadership for proposal support and direction.
- Support the archival of sales and proposal content.
- Perform all other duties as assigned.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree plus 12 years of related experience.
- Experience with FEDSIM pursuits and other large (>$300M) opportunities.
- Strong work ethic with the willingness to work overtime on short notice.
- Strong project management skills in team facilitation, as well as managing resources and schedules.
- Excellent communication/presentation skills including exceptional persuasive writing skills.
- Superior organization and follow-through skills.
- Strong interpersonal skills and analytical ability.
- Excellent business acumen skills.
- Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously and adapt to changing priorities and assignments.
- Ability to lead and work together as a team, either in a support role or as a project leader.
- Ability to translate objectives into a schedule and series of activities to meet the requirements.
- Frequent travel may be required (0-20% travel indicated).
- Potential for remote work exists.
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 and familiarity with SharePoint.
- Ability to obtain a security clearance.
