About the role
- Assist Operations Controller with reporting and support to engineering teams and senior management.
- Produce various financial operations reports and oversee critical processes.
- Assist with compilation of ad-hoc report requests and database management and data review.
- Support staff with questions related to timesheets and expense reports across multiple offices.
- Provide support preparing deliverables and presentations to engineering project managers.
- Assist with weekly coordination of timesheet approvals and postings.
- Manage monthly expense report submission process.
- Support monthly steps to request updates to the Project Database.
- Document new reports and SOPs and train staff on timesheet and expense processes.
- Provide recommendations on process and reporting improvements.
- Special projects and other tasks as assigned.
Requirements
- 0-1 years of experience in a financial analysis position.
- Excellent Excel skills, including pivot tables, formulas (x/v lookups, concatenate, sum if/ifs), ability to write macros is a plus.
- Experience with other Office applications, Adobe, Concur, and Dynamics 365 experience a plus.
- Excellent communication, research, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- High level of efficiency and accountability.
- Attention to detail.
- Customer service oriented.
- Ability to build relationships with employees, including those in leadership roles.
- Associates or Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, business analytics, business administration or similar field.
