About the role

  • Director of Smart Building Analytics leads a team of Smart Building Analytics Managers and contributes technical expertise to JLL's smart building platform Drive data-informed decisions on equipment operation, control, and maintenance for optimal efficiency Perform energy analysis at the building, meter and equipment level and provide energy savings and ROI analysis Develop and deploy analytics, ensure data quality and continuous data flow, perform BAS event triage, and support software development teams Ensure successful onboarding and commissioning of new client facilities, train client users, and support business development

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Computer Science 8+ years in delivery of design, fault detection, controls, energy management, or analytics related to real estate mechanical and electrical systems Proven people management experience with ability to lead technical teams Working proficiency with SkySpark, machine learning, or similar tools for fault detection/prediction rules and queries Expert understanding of HVAC systems, chillers, boilers, and other building systems for anomaly detection Working knowledge of building automation systems across commercial offices, data centers, and other building types Experience with predictive maintenance techniques for HVAC and building systems Knowledge of centralized command center operations and remote operations support Business and project management experience Strong verbal and written communication skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite and data analytics tools
