About the role

  • The Operations Manager leads the comprehensive management, supervision, and operation of Mobile Engineering Services across assigned facilities. Ensure safe, efficient, and cost-effective delivery of engineering and maintenance operations to customers within designated sub-regions. Drive operational excellence while maintaining the highest standards of service delivery supporting JLL's client outcomes and facility performance optimization. Maintain optimal daily staffing levels and allocate engineering team resources timely and cost-effectively. Supervise and develop Mobile Engineers through training programs ensuring staff qualifications meet operational requirements. Develop and execute documented maintenance plans incorporating preventive and repair procedures for assigned properties. Identify and remediate safety hazards to ensure safe working environments for building staff and Mobile Engineers. Collaborate with Project Management teams to develop and execute HVAC capital work plans, including infrastructure upgrades and equipment replacements. Conduct routine on-site inspections of maintained properties and monitor work performance metrics, budget performance, and labor utilization. Manage Mobile Engineering staff operations including payroll, work delivery tracking, and regulatory compliance documentation.

Requirements

  • Valid state driver's license Universal CFC refrigerant recovery certification Minimum 10 years of technical and supervisory experience in building operational engineering Strong background in packaged HVAC equipment repair, maintenance, and system design applications Excellent written and verbal communication skills Working knowledge of computer-based energy management systems (EMS) and computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) Proficiency in Microsoft Office systems including Word and Excel
