Manage the tactical building of multi-year real estate capital plans while strategically advising clients on management, performance, and utilization of their plan
Leverage experience in cost and schedule management, financial planning, facilities management and construction project management to identify client savings and reduce risk
Oversee construction planning, budget estimating, and manage the technology platform and process management for capital planning
Deliver operational excellence and drive best practices through the 5 phase JLL capital planning process (Gather, Develop, Analyze, Approve, Govern)
Establish trusting partnerships with clients and on-account leadership; build credibility, drive confidence, and deflect conflict under stressful/time-sensitive situations
Collaborate with Transition team, JLLT, BI team, Transactions, Facility Management, Occupancy Planning, Lease Administration in support of the Capital Planning Practice
Communicate to and engage Capital Planning Director and know when to escalate
Stay informed on changes to PDS Capital Planning processes, systems and reporting and contribute to the community of practice
Requirements
Expert level in Excel, Project, SharePoint and Smartsheet
Facilitates meetings comfortably, confidently and efficiently whether in person or virtually (using MS Teams)
Aggregates and translates outputs into marketable deliverables (e.g. Case Studies, White Papers and quarterly metrics)
7+ years of expertise in real estate and construction program/process management
7+ years of experience developing project charters (scope, schedules, budgets, business justifications and risk assessments) for a diverse set of real estate and construction projects
5+ years of real estate and construction finance principles
Understanding of change management, communication structures and planning
Ability to generate AACE level 4 and 5 cost evaluations; capable of working conceptually and qualifying unknowns; expertise in estimating software and benchmarking tools
Expert understanding of building system (MEPFS and architectural)
Ability to work collaboratively, independently and through ambiguity to create structure and consensus
Demonstrated ability to lead client engagements and advise senior executives via reports, written communications and oral presentations
Six Sigma and PMP certifications preferred
Experience conducting training preferred
AdaptiveWork super user preferred
Capital plan management experience
