About the role
- Guide portfolio-wide strategic planning, goal setting, and performance tracking
- Consolidate business unit insights into a clear dashboard view for executive leadership
- Provide financial and operational analysis to inform growth strategies, margin expansion, and capital deployment decisions
- Lead integration of newly acquired businesses, ensuring smooth transitions for employees, customers, and systems
- Build and refine the integration playbook for repeatable, scalable success
- Establish best-in-class execution management processes across business units
- Support development of scalable pricing models, incentive frameworks, and performance management systems
- Coach portfolio company leadership teams to strengthen financial acumen, operational discipline, and execution rigor
Requirements
- University degree in a business, finance, economics or accounting-related field with an excellent academic record
- 8–10 years of experience in finance, consulting, corporate strategy, or technology with exposure to M&A and operational leadership
- Professional designation (CPA, CFA, MBA, or equivalent) is an asset but not required
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Proven ability to build financial models and translate data into actionable insights
- Skilled at influencing senior executives and challenging the status quo with sound recommendations
- Comfortable managing multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Familiarity with the technology/software industry is an asset
