About the role
- Generate opportunities to position the Tanium platform within an assigned territory and/or accounts.
- Engage with CIO, CISO, VP Ops and technical/security personnel; communicate business benefits and technical details.
- Drive a superior customer experience by delivering tailored technology solutions and exceed assigned quota.
- Manage complex sales cycles and articulate the value of the Tanium platform to decision makers.
- Nurture and develop relationships within assigned territory/accounts; present to C-suite.
- Work with Partner and Marketing teams to define and support prospecting efforts within assigned territory/accounts.
- Generate sales development activity for healthy pipeline management.
- Accurately forecast and maintain excellent SFDC hygiene.
- Conduct online webinars or in-person presentations to generate qualified leads.
- Travel as needed.
Requirements
- Significant enterprise software sales experience, generating and closing large & complex software transactions within the Public Sector (Ontario).
- Must be based in Toronto.
- A strong team mentality - managing and using virtual resources to tackle large and complex sales cycles.
- Deep understanding of the Canadian (Provincial) public sector procurement landscape.
- Solid network of public sector-focused partners and resellers in Canada.
- Experience calling on and presenting to C-Suite level contacts.
- Proven track record of exceeding quota.
- The ability to evangelize and build new business opportunities within an assigned territory and/or accounts.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Experience in the Operations and/or the Cyber Security field is highly desired.
- 5 days volunteer time off (VTO)
